There are always little tips to help you as a user get the most out of our system. Below you will find some tips to help. We’ve tried to organize these in order based on what most people encounter: WEB BROWSERS, SEARCHING, MY LEADS, LEADTRACING and Miscellaneous
First,
WEB BROWSERS:
The most compatible web browsers when accessing your account are Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Other browsers, like Safari, can be used but won’t be optimized.
As with any web browser make sure to keep it updated with any new version that comes out.
The system is NOT optimized for use on mobile devices and browsers.
If you are in one of the recommended browsers and you are still having login issues, you may need to clear your browsing data (cache and cookies). To do this..

Next, the primary use of the system: SEARCHING
When using any of the search fields, start with a ‘broad’ search. For example when searching a property, start with the street number, then refine the search. The street address could be “123 Main Lane” but you might have entered “123 Main St.” and this could skew the results. Start with “123 Main” and see what results appear. You can then narrow the search after the results appear.
If you are searching an area, like a zip code or a city, and you get 0 results, this is often due to too many filters applied at once that are either canceling each other out or are too restrictive. Try backing up, making the broadest search you can, and then applying your filters one at a time and see what happens to the results as you narrow them down.
MY LEADS:
The MY LEADS section is a holding queue for your next steps on your lead list. This is NOT your CRM. Hence, this is not the place to search for saved properties or contacts.
It is highly recommended that you pull a new list of leads, choose one of the action items in the MY LEADS, and when you are ready to begin searching for a new list, click the RESET button to clear out your previous list before selecting your new one.
You will want to clear prior to selecting a new list for a variety of reasons, the main reason is to prevent duplicate files from being created.
MY LEADS button is specific to the browser & device being used. Adding leads from your mobile device or secondary device, then logging in elsewhere will not show the leads in the MY LEADS button.
A couple of examples of when leads will not display in the MY LEADS button
- You are logged into Computer A and add 5 leads to the MY LEADS button. When you are logged in on Computer B, you would not see these leads in the MY LEADS button on Computer B.
- You are logged into Computer A using Chrome as your browser. Then you add 10 leads to the MY LEADS button. Then you logged in with the same computer, but you logged in using Firefox as your browser. In this case, you would not see these leads in the MY LEADS button when logged in with Firefox.
LEAD TRACING:
Leadtracing is optimal when run your trace from a Leadpipes search, AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE OPTION “Save these contacts to CRM.” This will ensure your property/contact profiles are saved and fully connected with the public records, the potential phone numbers are added to the contact's profile, you get the DNC icon right on your Contacts page, and you can still get a downloadable spreadsheet with contact information. This Spreadsheet will be found in the BELL Icon on the Upper Right Hand corner of your screen. Please note: The spreadsheets are in a .zip file compressed format, which you will need to unzip to access the .csv spreadsheet.
MISCELLANEOUS
A few more notes on MY LEADS and the action buttons as well as some miscellaneous tips:
*Leadpipes: there is a download limit of 10,000 leads PER download
*Direct Mail: When entering your information into the Phone Number field, there is a character limit of 21.
- Characters include spaces, dashes, letters, and parenthesis.
MISCELLANEOUS CRM tips (Not all accounts will have all features below)
*Power Matching: Buyer profile has to be filled out, with a minimum of State and Cities/Zips of interest
*When uploading photos to CRM property files, full street address is required.
*Power Linked Users cannot create new property and contact files. They can only be 'linked' to existing files.
*Whenever you are entering information whether it is a property, note, task, website make sure to hit ‘Save’ after entering the information before navigating to another area of the system
*When importing Contacts and Properties: start with a basic list to get the feel to see what fields we have available that you can import information into.
*Property File: when creating a property file and typing in the address, make sure to start with just the house number and the name of the street. If the address is not exact to the Public records it will not pull that information automatically.
For example: 123 Main Street, in the Public records it might show 123 Main St. and it would not pull the info because it is not exact so start with the house number and street name and look in the drop down menu of properties to see if your property is listed.
